This year, the ALIFE conference will schedule a small number of breakout working groups that will be running throughout an extended coffee break. These ~30 minute gatherings should give delegates the opportunity to kick-off discussions on community-relevant topics (such as organizing community-wide outreach activities, discussing future ISAL conference submission modes, etc.) They will be scheduled on the same day as the conference excursion so that discussions can be easily continued in this more informal setting.
If you want to suggest moderating a breakout discussion please send an email to alife-19@newcastle.ac.uk, explaining your topic and why it is relevant to be discussed in the broader ALIFE community. We are accepting proposals until 28 June 2019.
